Sashay Ruffle Scarf

The other day I went into JoAnns and as I opened the door there were two women at a table knitting. I approached the table to see just what it was that they were knitting and it was these beautiful ruffled scarves. I almost forgot what I went into the store for; I immediately went to the  yarn and bought what I needed to create one of these beauties. I came home and knitted one for my daughter, so beautiful.

This pattern is for a beginner or advance knitter, it is quick and easy to knit. The pattern on the package calls for a 5.5 mm needles but I used a 10.0 mm needles. Check out the video from youtube on how to make this scarf. Happy knitting!

I would like to thank adorable Leah for modeling my scarf. She wanted me to teach her how to knit, so she can make one of these. So this past Saturday we had our first lesson in cast on and knit stitch, she did a great job! She is a great student and a quick learner  and I enjoyed teaching her this fun art.

  1. for that length, how many scanes of yarn did you use?

  2. Your scarf and your model are both so cute! I’ve seen this kind of ‘yarn’ in stores, but hadn’t tried it yet. Now, I’ll find a crochet pattern for a scarf and give it a go!

  3. That’s adorable!
