10 amazing ideas for your garden

By Cynthia 9 Comments

Hello all you talented and crafty people here are 10 amazing ideas for your garden! This is Gloria, Cynthia’s daughter, and I will be guest blogging for my mom in the upcoming weeks. Unfortunately the day before Easter she broke her right arm/wrist and is unable to do much because she is right handed. Her concern was that she still had Easter stuff on her blog! So I told her I would keep her blog going and update her FB page for her while she recovers.

Please keep her in your prayers! My mom is incredible! She is legit when it comes to crafting. Growing up me and my sister would make stuff from all of her craft remnants. I owe all of my craftiness to her. She sews, knits, crochets, cut wood, make digital prints, paints, and the list goes on! Like seriously!

In the upcoming weeks I will share a couple of her completed projects in her craft studio and curate some of her Pinterest pins.

My mom loves to garden! Her yard is normally totally off the chain, envy of the whole street! I try to keep my own yard decent so she won’t call me out on it! Oh the pressure! 😉

It’s hard to keep up a garden without Garden Tools.  So make sure that you have everything you need to be envied by everyone in your community!

Here are 10 amazing ideas for your garden from her garden board.

I’m so in love with the outdoor nook. I hope your sweet mother heals quickly and will enjoy your posts, too.

Love each and every one of those gardening photos and all they entail. How incredible. Always enjoy using things in a garden somebody wouldn’t expect to see, half the fun. And all those incredible bird houses, love them to bits. I’m pinning all of this for future reference. Gives me ideas. Love idea of raised flower/garden beds from pallets. We have several of those. Happy weekend to you and yours.

Yes Jane love these too…this post was created by my daughter when I was a little under the weather…I think she did a great job collecting these amazing ideas! I love birdhouses. I have about 10 birdhouses in by backyard, one for the birds and the rest for my pleasure. At one point I had 3 raised gardens (10 x 10) and they worked me to death, so I downsized to one. I don’t know what I was thinking planting that many raised gardens and that large. I guess I thought I was able, but quickly found out I wasn’t. I really enjoy gardening so much pleasure and relaxation. So glad to hear from you again…and you and yours have a blessed weekend too.

Thanks so much Patricia! That injury was last Easter and I’m in recovery now of a broken knee.

I love all of your ideas! As far as flowers I like to plant, my favorites are Petunias and Nasturtiums (sp?). The reason is because they’re edible! The Nasturtiums have a black pepper taste to them (leaves and flowers both!), and make a salad so tasty AND pretty! The Petunia flowers can be dipped in a sugar glaze and are beautiful on cakes!

Thanks, Donna! I’ve planted nasturtiums before. I knew that they could be eaten, but I never tried them. I love gardening, it’s one of my favorite things to do! Have a wonderful day!

    Hi Cynthia,

I am so in love with the nook made out of doors. I was wondering if you could tell me ties the bottom of the doors sit on? Thank you.
