Everyone needs a nice set of coasters. You know that using coasters will save you the embarrassment of having those unsightly glass rings on your tables. I hate glass rings; don’t you?
Transferring pictures onto objects, whether its fabric, glass, wood or tile is so rewarding, especially if you are not good at drawing. I’ve taken these inexpensive tiles that I bought at our local diy store. I printed out the picture I wanted to use; cut them out and glued them on the tile. After the glue dried I wet the paper on the tile and gently rub the paper off and I was left with the print. I waited until the paper dried again and sprayed some gloss on top. When the gloss dried I put four adhesive round pads on each corner of the coaster. I’ve been wanting to do this for a while, I’m so pleased with the outcome. Give it a try.

Cynthia, I love these coasters that you made.
Where did you buy those unmade coasters?
Thanks,

Hi Janey! I bought the tiles at Lowe’s for about $3.98 a box.
