Oh how I wish that we had a baby girl in the family! She would be showered with so much love and so many gifts. Maybe one day God will bless me with a granddaughter to spoil. I love creating things for little girls. I crocheted this soft pink tooth fairy heart pillow and loved every moment. I want to share how and what patterns I used to make this cute little pillow. Hopefully you can make one for your precious little girl. ~Happy Fingers~
Here is a link to learn how to crochet this cute heart
Decorating the heart is up to you. I crocheted a heart for the front of the pillow and embellished it with a button. On the back I made a heart from fabric for the pocket and crocheted a motif to place on it. To place the heart on the pillow I used the blanket stitch. Also, I attached a crocheted I-cord to hang the pillow
Here is the pattern to the motif.
Motif Pattern:
Rnd 1 Ch 1, 12 sc in ring, join with slip st to first sc. (12 sc)
Rnd 2 Ch 1, (sc, ch 5, sc, ch 1) in same stitch, *skip 1 sc, (sc, ch 5, sc, ch1) in next sc; repeat from * four more times, join with slip st to first sc.
Rnd 3 Ch1, (sc, hdc, 4 dc, ch 2, 4 dc, hdc, sc) in each ch-5 space around, join with slip st to first sc. Fasten off.
