My studio (craft room) is always a work in progress. There is never enough storage space or am I not completely satisfied with the arrangement. I bought this cabinet about 10 years ago at an estate sale, and it’s great for storage, but it was looking outdated.
So instead of buying another one I decided to give it a paint job. Oh what a bucket of paint can do! While I was in the mood I also painted my bulletin board too.
Please share your tips on how you arrange and organize your space. I would love to hear from you.
I was almost satisfied with just painting the shelf space and decided to paint it all, so glad I did!
Love the aqua blue and white combination
On the side of the cabinet I put these wire shelving units to hold my small paint bottles.
These jars are perfect for items like buttons and other small elements.
I just love these cute little filing box label holders from Tim Holtz’ collection.
The shelf needed some sort of decor, I thought this metal crown was so perfect for this space!
I repainted my bulletin board with the aqua and white paint.
The finish project!

Wow, Cynthia both cupboard and bulletin board look great, the aqua and white are gorgeous. You did great job rehabing those pieces for your craft room.
You don’t want to see my craft room, would be embarrassed for anybody to see it. EEeeekkkk a really big mess. I go in there to get something, think “I need to clean this up” and get out as quick as I can. I’ll get to it, sewing room is worse, but not right now. When the mood strikes me I’ll dive in and get them both done. If I try to clean a room and not in right frame of mind it doesn’t get done very well or at all. Right now I feel overwhelmed. Your craft room looks so nice, organized clean, Hopefully after seeing yours I’ll get inspired real soon, for some reason have been in funk for few weeks. Happy weekend

Well Ms Jane so good to hear from ya again…**smiling***! That is only one side of the workroom and it’s dressed up for the picture (I wish my room could stay that neat every day!). How nice that you have a sewing and craft room…I have to use one room for everything: painting, sewing, woodwork, etc! Maybe one day I will be bless to have a sewing and craft-room! I would love to meet the crafter that their room is in place at all times…I need some tips but I’m trying. I hope the pics can give you the inspiration you need. Love hearing from you. Have a great weekend!
