Crochet Round Photo Frame with Embroidery

The first time I saw these frames were (you guessed it) on Pinterest. I thought they were the cutest little picture frames ever. So I decided to create my own. They are quick and easy to make! All you need is yarn,  crochet needle and a ring. You can use a metal, plastic or even an embroidery hoop.

I used a 6″ metal ring and crocheted 195 sc stitches around and sl stitch together. The stitch pattern I used calls for a multiple of 3 stitches, so I made sure my number of sc stitches could be divided by 3 evenly.

Here is a diagram of the stitch pattern I used

To give it a lacy look I finished it with a 5 chain, sc stitch repeat around the ring.
