It’s that time of the year again!!!! Springtime!!! Yay!!!!! And it’s time to create that spring time wreath. Is there anyone as excited about Spring as much as I am? Now is the time for planting trimming, weeding, gardening, cleaning, etc. No wonder they called this season “Spring” so many “ings” are happening during this time of the year (lol). I love Spring! It represent anew, afresh, beauty, and growth…sigh, I could go on and on.
My daughter had spring fever the other day and wanted us to make a wreath. She didn’t have to ask twice. So we welcome Spring in by creating this beautiful and easy wreath to share.
Supplies for wreath:
Wreath (we used a straw wreath)
ribbon burlap
flowers of choice
glue and glue gun
A straw wreath is sturdy and very inexpensive and it works well with burlap
Slantly wrap the burlap on the wreath
We used 2 beautiful Hydrangeas and a few filler flowers
Close-up shot of the wreath on the door. I’m so excited about the way this wreath turned out…it’s beautiful. I’m going to not only have this wreath for spring, I love it so much that I’m going to keep it up through out the summer!

This is one of prettiest have seen on blog land Cynthia. So pretty and just in time for Spring. I always enjoy an arrangement that includes hydrangeas. Faux ones are only ones to have at our place. Love colors of flowers you used on your wreath.
Did you have bad winter where you live? I felt so bad for so many people that had to live with what Mother Nature gave them. Our Winter (western CO) was mildest we’ve had since we moved here in 2004. Of course our furnace had to misbehave in the only really cold time we had, around Christmas so our gift was a new furnace part (again). Year before had to practically get new furnace and it was darned cold, right at Christmas time. We were lucky enuf to find a furnace fixer to take payments for fixing both times.
Enjoy your gorgeous wreath every chance you get. Great example. Happy daze to you, enjoy the weekend upcoming.

Hi JaneEllen!!! Very nice to hear from you again! We had a couple of days of hard winter, but for the most part I would say that we had a very mild winter here in Texas. We’ve lived in the New England states and the winters were pretty hard (cold to the bone). So I feel for those who are enduring this weather. Sorry to hear about the furnace, hope you all didn’t get too cold. I fell and cracked my knee in September of last year and yesterday was the first in a long time that I had a chance to do yard work…worked so hard that it set me back a little. Today my knee is very sore and I’m walking around with a crutch, think I was a little excited about being outside. Oh well…things will get better. Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!
