It’s getting closer and closer. Yes, Christmas is like right around the corner. It’s time to decorate the Christmas tree. I’m using these cute little crochet Christmas tree ornaments to hang on the tree. There are certain times that people put up there Christmas tree me, I like to put my tree up the beginning week of Thanksgiving. When do you put up your Christmas tree?

Cynthia, I love your blog. Your little Christmas Tree Ornaments are so cute! I’m going to make them, sew 2 of them together with some pine scented potpourri inside and hang some around my Christmas tree. A few hanging in my closets would be bad either!. Again, thank you so much for sharing your pattern 🙂

Thank you, Carolyn, I’m glad that you will make these Christmas Trees, I made the backs to mine too. I love the idea of stuffing them, thanks, I got the pattern from Pinterest as a diagram and decided to write it out. I don’t know who it belongs to, but I thank them because I loved crocheting them.

Again this year I am going to make Teachers Christmas gifts with my granddaughter. I’m havin one problem with the pattern and I know it must be a simple solution. Please help me out. Christmas Tree Ornaments.
At the beginning of each row it says dc in same dc in rd below. . What does this mean? I always come up one stitch short
Thx for your time
Marie
Can’t wait to get started. The trees look fantastic.

Hope this explanation can help:
Once you chain 3 and turn make sure you put a double crochet in the last double crochet in the previous row. It will have the chain 3 and the double crochet in the same stitch. If this doesn’t help, I’ll be more than glad to explain it better 😉

Thanks for writing out this pattern. I saw the diagram on Pinterest as well but have an easier time following written out patterns like this. I’m excited to make a few of these as gifts and use up some cute buttons I’ve had stashed away 🙂

April, I’m so glad that this pattern came in handy! 😄

Hi. Thanks for this pattern. Hope ito make these cuties for Christmas. Need to ask though , do i slip stitch at the end of each round? Where? And the stitch count after the first round is 9 including the ch3? Thanks
Cynthia says
Hi Anne, glad that you like the pattern enough to try it. I don’t think you sl st at the end of each round. Yes, the chain 3 is equal to a dc, and including it in the count, you will end up with 9 dc

Thank you for the great pattern, Cynthia. I made a great applique Christmas tree for my boy’s Christmas sweater. These sweaters are getting more popular in Bulgaria the last few years so my boy will be into fashion now 😉
