February is here, and Valentine is less than two weeks away. Here is a quick last minute gift to give for those of you that have waited until the last minute or have forgotten. This Valentine candy jar can take you less than an hour to put together and can be used for storage once the candy is gone.
Supplies needed:
glass jar with a top
sharpie oil pen
candy
ribbon or jute
You will need to wash the jar thoroughly, making sure that there isn’t any grease or grime.
After washing the jar, you need a shape of a heart to tape or glue to the glass. I found my heart online. If you would like to use the heart illustration, here is the link.
Tape or glue down the illustration. Take an oil pen (I used a Sharpie oil pen) to decorate your jar.
The colors I used were black, red and white sharpie pens to create the dots on the jar. Also, I painted the top with chalkboard paint.
Here is the jar finished with ribbon and a heart tag.
Here is a very easy craft using a sharpie. Buy a coffee cup and wash it thoroughly of all grease and grime. Using your oil sharpie create a cute little illustration on the cup. Preheat oven for 250 and let the cup bake for 15 minutes, turn oven off and let cup sit in the oven until cool.
