Bedazzled Monogram Wood Letter

By Cynthia 2 Comments

Create a bedazzled monogram wood letter that you can cherish. You can walk into Hobby Lobby without a creative bone in your body; but leave there thinking you can decorate the Queen’s Palace and be crafty as Martha Stewart. There is something there for everyone and there is plenty of bling, bling too. Every time I go there my creative juices began to bubble over. That little diva spirit rose up in me (we all have a little diva in us) and I wanted to create something with a little bling. So I bought a wooden letter and a box of flat faux crystal beads and came home and created this blinged out letter.

DSC_2479Instead of hot gluing each crystal on; I sprayed adhesive on the wooden letter.  Can you imagine hot gluing or just gluing each crystal on, that would have been long and torturous. Near the end of the project the glue had become very sticky, when I placed a crystal on the letter it was hard to move. My fingers are a little sore from pushing the crystals but that’s okay…it turned out so cute!

Thanks to my husband for giving me the idea of spraying the glue on the letter. As they say “Two heads are better than one”.  Thanks honey!
