Victorian Valentine Pillow

By Cynthia 10 Comments

Victorian pillow

When creating this pillow it took me back in time, maybe some will remember, maybe not. I remember when I did crafts in the 80’s I tea-dyed everything, if I were making this pillow then; I would have tea-dyed everything from the burlap to the material covering the pillow. I didn’t do that this time…just wanted a little nostalgia. I just tea-dyed the crochet piece and the lace. I love the look of how the pillow turned out, a taste of Victorian country or Shabby chic if you will.~Happy Crafting~

I just love the Victorian look, so I noticed this right away. I used some leftover coffee to dye some fabric last week, but it was more of a rustic look. Love this! Dee 🙂

This is adorable! I love the burlap pink heart, and the jute glued on it…that is so clever! The tea dyed lace turned out beautiful.
