There is nothing like a delicious dessert that’s quick and easy. Here is an old-fashioned dessert for those who just don’t have time to prepare desserts from scratch; and want something that’s homemade. You can whip this dessert up in no time. It’s so delicious; not only can you serve it to your family but it’s good enough to serve at your next party.
Easy Strawberry Shortcake

Ingredients
- 1lb. of Strawberries
- 1 cup of Cool Whip
- ½ cup of cream cheese
- ½ cup of powdered sugar
- 2 tbs. of powdered sugar (for dip)
- Sara Lee Pound Cake (6 individually wrapped)
- Hershey Chocolate Syrup (optional)
Instructions
- Clean and cut strawberries
- Put strawberries in bowl and add ½ cup of powdered sugar, mash them together until strawberries are small chunks
- Cut cake with round cutter or just use the whole slice
- Dip some glaze from mashed strawberries on cake and add strawberries
- Cream Cheese Dip
- In separate bowl add Cool Whip and cream cheese together add 2 tablespoon of powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mix well. Scoop a tablespoon of strawberries and tablespoon of dip, top with a strawberry and drizzle with chocolate syrup.
