Easter is Sunday, April 20, and I wanted to make something special for me for Easter. I have a Amigurumi board with some of the cutest crochet stuffed toys. I’ve created some simple owls before, but I’ve never made one that was detailed with arms and legs.
So I decided to give it a try. I was so surprised, it was easier than I thought! I will definitely have to create more of these cute creatures. If you’ve never made any, give it a try, so much fun!
I used small buttons for the eyes, pink felt for the paws and burlap for the inner ear. If you feel that you would like to try a project like this, here are few free patterns to choose from.

New Craft Book
I wanted to share my new craft book “Coin purse and Porch book made from wool felt” by Nobuko Sasaki. I’m so excited about this book. I’ve been seeing this book on the web and found it on Etsy, so I ordered it. It came in yesterday; and it has some amazing projects. I can’t wait to make my first project…stay tune.
