I was browsing on Pinterest and my daughter noticed a granny square hobo bag, and fell in love. She begged me to crochet one for her, and so I did. I’ve never made a granny square bag before so, I had to do some “googling”. If I have to say so myself, (which I will) I think I did a pretty darn good job! So if you decide you want to make one I will give some links below that can help you.
Here it is! She’s happy with and so am I! This is where I got my inspiration from Pinterest.
I did a 5 round granny square using a 3 cluster double crochet stitch, with 5 colors, reversing them for 2 different squares. I made 18 granny squares

The only difference between mine and this one, is that after sewing it all together I added an extra square on each side where the handle will be added. Handle instructions: Single crochet in each stitch across the end of each side of the granny squares where the handle will be (7 stitches). continue single crochet to the length you desire, mine about 24 inches. |
