I love washi and decorative tape (and who doesn’t), and recently I saw decorative tape at the craft store. I almost purchased it but decided that I would go home and make it myself. I want to share with you how to DIY decorative tape.
Supplies needed for DIY decorative tape:
Click on image below for more information.
Fabric Tape
Pull paper off one side of tape and place down on wrong side of fabric.
Cut very close to tape, make sure your scissors are sharp
Take your strip and roll it up neatly and pull about a half inch of tape to keep your tape roll secure.
Glitter Tape
Cut doubled sided tape to desired length. Pull off paper on one side of tape. Put tape with paper side down on top of paper to catch extra glitter. Sprinke glitter on sticky side of tape an rub the glitter on the tape. After the tape is fully glittered gently shake off lose glitter and take a damp paper towel and rub off the rest. Roll tape snugly and pull back about a half inch of paper to secure tape on roll.
